Sprague Orange Drop 715P  .1mfd/100V capacitor. A great cap that does the job well, .1mfd is a darker cap than say a .047mfd which is found today in Strat circuits.

Revibe universal shielding plate. Will fit 50s 8 hole guard, 11 hole 62,64,65 and 70s guards. Made from correct thickness material .3mm. Shields were used behind all vintage guards in the 50s (tone control area only) and 60s (full shield) Foil is not up to the job and often tears when pots or switches are fitted.

Regarding 'TONE' and pickups, well this has to be one of the most discussed topics ever, so to cut straight to the bone "it is all in your hands" and the chain from your guitar to amp. Other factors are the type of body wood, rosewood or maple neck, gauge of strings etc...

During the early years of the Strat, the pickups were all made the same, with only slight differences  in the amount of windings produced from the winding tecnique of the workers making the pickups! but these guitars sounded different in the hands of different guitarists due to tecnique, type of wood in the body, neck type etc.....

In my opinion, no pickup is made for a specific type of music it is your set up and skill that counts!

Revibe Treble Bleed - A great little mod that is fitted to your volume pot. You would have noticed that when you dial back on your volume control the tone can become muddy! well a treble bleed will stop this so you do not lose the treble as the volume drops.
